I watched over patrons and made sure they stayed safe and followed the rules. This was hard knowing that someone else's life was in your hands. The training for life-guarding was extremely hard, but definitely. Other than life-guarding skills I learned CPR as well.

I waitressed every Friday from 5a.m-1a.m. When i opened I put all the money in the register, made sure silverware was wrapped, ice in the machine, swept the floor and made sure lemonade was made. I took orders, got people drinks, mainly coffee, and took money. At closing I made sure all the dishes were done, took register count, made sure there was lemonade and refilled condiment bottles. Waitressing did give me a little bit of an anxiety attack sometimes though.

I cleaned this lady's house for her since she was on bed rest and her husband was working all the time. I cleaned everything from the windows to the toilets to the floors to the counter tops to the walls and the doors.

The Cozy Cone had just opened that year and it was out of a camper, but it was a nice camper and pretty cool. I took orders, made ice cream, cones, blizzards, shakes and sundaes. I cleaned the dishes and washed the equipment. At closing time every night I washed the pieces to the machine and got ride of the rest of the ice cream and I closed up.
