In a high school graduating class of over 400, I finished with a class ranking inside the top twenty. I received a full-ride academic scholarship to Utah State University and chose to attend the most beautiful campus in the world, located in Logan, Utah.It was at the end of my first semester that I was recruited by Fox Pest Control to facilitate door-to-door sales in Albany, New York. I trained extensively before heading out from May through August. I worked 70+ hour weeks with a team of about twenty. I found that through the process of total commitment and sacrifice, I gained a new perspective on gratitude and tenacity. In a branch of twenty and a company of over 400 reps, I ended my rookie summer third in the branch, fifth rookie in the company for revenue, and top 2% in the company for contract value. This experience taught me so much about connecting with others and providing value in their lives. Speaking with 50-100 homeowners daily also allowed me to develop top-notch communication skills.After that first summer, I committed to a leadership and recruiting role with Fox. I now attend weekly trainings and leadership meetings, as well as recruiting activities. I plan to continue in Fox leadership and be a top producer in the company. I have found that the environment at Fox brings out my competitiveness while allowing me to develop leadership skills. My team members encourage an environment of positivity and optimism that I enjoy experiencing and contributing to.I strive to surround myself with competitive, positive individuals who will help me progress towards my goals.
