Career tl;dr and highlights:[dree]* Built and shipped a full-featured laundry marketplace application for Android, iOS, Web, and a serverless node.js backend in a 5-month time frame. The app was supported by over 300 unit tests built on top of a modern serverless stack with protocol buffers, gRPC, on GCP. * App features shipped included 5-week wash scheduling, a job calendar & job matcher, google maps & matrix APIs to organize routes for gig workers, a full-featured chat & SMS integration with Twilio support, and a local mobile wallet with integrations with Everee to provide instant payouts.[Snap/Snapchat] * Built and shipped Giphy on Snapchat as my first feature -- which led to me being tagged as the “stickers guy” and building out a Utah office that specialized in Creative-tools. Giphy remains one of the top stickers used on Snap today. Also moved Snap's metadata over to an on-demand model that helped save millions worth of egress bandwidth costs.* Rewrote the entire Sticker & Creative-tools stack with 🍕 Andrei Rybin during Snapchat's infamous “Mushroom” (Android) rewrite by Snapchat. Later I co-architected the Creative-tools Platform, which still serves most creative-tools at Snap today.* Led the Cameos integration while Cameos was a separate company which resulted in the acquisition and bringing of an entirely new organization to Snap with 50 or so engineers brought into Snap. * Built and shipped the first version of external Music integration for Android.* Was awarded a top contributor award and was promoted twice into an EM position where I got to pivot and help build teams, mentor engineers, and have an influence on the projects our teams took on.[DOMO]* Awarded the DOMO blue award for my contributions as the Mobile Architect, which included building with my team and significant personal contributions: Page Filters, BUZZ Chat, Card Views, and multiple pieces of the networking layers.Before these, some of my awards include* The TuneIn.com app that I help build was one of Google's "Best apps of 2014"​* The Ancestry.com app that I helped build was one of Google's "Best of the Best of 2012"​A few games I've written:Pebble Racer (Pebble game) - was a top 10 pebble watch game.
