The company was private equity owned from 2003-2004 (Blackstone, Apollo, and Goldman Sachs) and later merged with Ecolab, Inc. ($14.5 billion revenue) in 2011. David served in leadership roles within procurement, sales management, and new market development (China, Korea, Brazil).

The business sold to Ariba (now SAP) in 2004. David served in senior sales and account management roles.
