I believe in taking ownership of my work, whether it's developing new sales strategies or overcoming obstacles in real estate. My approach is centered around perseverance, continuous improvement, and staying focused on long-term goals by delaying instant gratification. I value collaboration and always seek opportunities to learn from those around me, while also sharing my own experiences to help others succeed. I started my sales career knocking on doors, learning the importance of finding my own pitch, pushing past the "no's," and focusing on what I could control. These skills have been instrumental in my journey from door-to-door sales to my current role as an Account Executive at Korbyt, where I work closely with clients to provide solutions that meet their unique needs.As a Business Development Representative at Korbyt, I joined a department that was still finding its structure. I took the initiative to create scripts, document processes, and develop operational workflows, which not only helped me succeed but also benefited the entire team. This experience led to my promotion to Account Executive within six months, where I now thrive on building relationships and problem-solving for our clients.Within my work at Korbyt, I have a particular passion for working with higher education institutions. As a recent graduate, I easily connect with my clients, understanding their needs from the perspective of both the campus community and the students.Outside of my sales career, I’m driven by my passion for entrepreneurship and real estate. Real estate, to me, is the key to financial freedom. I’m constantly seeking out networking opportunities, reading books, and taking courses to stay informed about the industry. My first investment property was a tough learning experience, with almost everything going wrong. But instead of giving up, I stayed focused and saw the project through, further fueling my drive for real estate.Long-term, I plan to build a real estate company, starting with wholesaling and working my way up to multi-family investments. A big part of my goal with this company is to give back to the community by creating jobs, spreading knowledge, and motivating others.There's no better way to sum up everything I feel than by William Ernest Henley's poem, Invictus - "I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul."
