I have always looked to help others in whatever position I may be in. From different leadership positions to community service efforts, the goal has always been to leave a place better than it was. I have had the privilege to apply this in multiple situations: Serving as a Peer Instructor for a success strategies course has given me the wonderful opportunity to connect with students who are brand new to college and help guide them throughout their first semester while also plugging them into different opportunities around campus to help them make the most of their college experience. At the same time, I am working as an Undergraduate Assistant within First Year Experiences, where I have been able to help with various projects for these courses as well as promote them during summer orientation camps, answering questions and helping enroll students to set them up for success in their college career.At the same time, I have always loved being involved with music. From starting as a saxophone player in the middle school band to filling my entire senior year schedule with only musical ensembles, it has been something I have always wanted to pursue more of. As I started at Auburn University, I still tried to stay involved in different choral ensembles, but I shifted my focus to another side of the music industry: live events. Seeing these huge acts that I've always enjoyed listening to right here in Alabama has been nothing short of incredible, and the more I watch, the more I want to engage in helping put these events on. I would love to work for a concert venue and help provide fans with incredible experiences as I have enjoyed before. Primarily, I would love to be in a role or position where I can help schedule different acts for the venue and create a great variety of acts that anyone can enjoy. Being able to help create a new destination for music lovers to create memories like the ones I've been able to experience is an incredible way to help leave a positive impact in my community.
