At my core, I am a knowledge seeker, and an aspiring creative who wants to put in the hard work necessary to achieve my big dreams. I'm driven by the burning need to pursue my passions and make my dreams come to life. I attended Shaker Heights High School where I graduated in the Class of 2021. I was a member of the MAC (Minority Achievement Commitee) Scholars Program for the final two years of my high school career where I used my skills as a leader and a mentor to encourage academic excellence and achievement within fellow minority students. I was also a member of the Semanteme, the creative arts magazine for the school district and served as the writing editor. Finally, I was also a student of the IB Diploma Program in my district from my junior to senior year. My academic achievements in high school allowed me to become a member of the NSHSS (National Society of High School Scholars) which helped my college search. Currently, I attend Otterbein University as a double major in Creative Writing and Film Studies, where I am now also involved with Alpha Lambda Delta and Sigma Tau Delta. In addition, I am the fiction editor on the editorial board for Quiz and Quill, the creative arts magazine on campus, and I am also an editor for Aegis, the humanities magazine on campus. I work on-campus jobs whenever possible, and as I continue my college education, I will continue to get involved in as much as I can, striving to make the most of my education and skills as possible.
