As an athletic compliance intern, I have the opportunity to work with my school's Associate Athletic Director of Internal Operations and our Compliance Officer. Some of my duties thus far include, examining the scheduling of 20 varsity sports to ensure compliance with NCAA Bylaw 17. I am also responsible for maintaining accurate information in Compliance Assistant such as financial aid, student-athlete demographics, and progress toward degree requirements. I assisted in researching best practices for compliance education administered to all staff, coaches, and student-athletes.

During the summer going into my junior year of college I was fortunate enough to intern for The Marketing Project Las Vegas. During my internship, I managed several social media accounts for restaurants in Las Vegas. I also strategically developed initiatives and meaningful content to gain organic engagement on different social media platforms, while generating at least 10 new customers for the restaurant per week through our social media efforts. The Marketing Project gave me a lot of freedom to do what I wanted and try out new things on the accounts I ran. As well as assisting in video and picture content, weekly emails, and marketing promotions.
