During my time at Journeyfront I wore multiple hats. I built and maintained a dynamic P&L model that played a variety of functions. We would send the model to Venture Capital firms, while trying to raise a Series Seed round of funding. Another role I played was helping generate and qualify leads for the CEO. I used software like HubSpot, Trello, reply.io and worked with websites like CrunchBase. I was given a lot of independence to help fill in the gaps where the business needed me.

I worked in the Investment Management Division (IMD) in Goldman Sachs Asset Management Group (GSAM) in Third-Party Distribution (TPD). I analyzed and reported on data from the performance of our regional directors. I also built a dynamic dashboard with a backend database that aggregated data from more than four third-party sources to help identify opportunities for our regional directors. My team would also monitor and report on the inflows and outflows of assets for the Goldman Sachs funds. In my role I used Excel, VBA, and MS Access.

I worked with vice presidents through the company to help manage their 10 cost centers. I forecasted and accrued expenses for these cost centers. I met with the SVP's and VP's at least once a month to adjust our forecasts and budget goals. Also, I performed a variety of ad-hoc projects for the VP of Finance and CFO.

I built a temporary database, automated spreadsheets, and a performance dashboard to display the results of a major process. I worked with a team of interns to conduct a cost savings analysis on an outside vendor. The analysis resulted in a 34% reduction in the previous deemed "Non-recoverable" expenses.

GFA is a student-run investment fund of about $1.5 million in assets. I performed equity research on companies in the consumer discretionary and financials industries. I analyzed about six companies throughout the experience. I wrote the industry and company reports, built the slide decks, and presented on these companies to our student base and our Senior Advisor.

I created customized financial plans for clients and presented those plans with recommendations to clients.
