I am a Master Luthier with over thirty years experience making, repairing, restoring and appraising bowed stringed instruments. Originally a classical guitar maker, I have had the priviledge of restoring and adjusting some of the most famous, beautiful and historically significant instruments and bows the world has ever known. My shop has played host to many of the most famous and talented musicians as they stop through the DC area on their way to another world-class performance. Whether its rehairing their bows, or adjusting the soundpost in their Strad, I am honored to be a trusted resource for some of the greatest performers in the world. But none of that compares to the pleasure and inspiration I get from the hundreds of excited students I get to work with every year from all over the country.
