Put the design out for bids but ultimately purchased used equipment and built the system in-house saving the organization over $100,000 in purchase cost.Our new infrastructure included a three Dell Server ESXi cluster running Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Dynamics CRM, Web Server, File & Print Services, Domain Controller and VOIP phone system. This system was backed up nightly both on site and to the cloud using Veeam Backup & Restoration.Recruited an exceptional web developer and provided assistance in design of a new web portal for the organization.Helped design new offices, installed networking cables, selected and programmed a new 3CX VOIP phone system

I reached out to Cisco, US West and Lucent to form a partnership with Vail Banks to create the first commercial installation of voice over a data network in 1999 saving Vail Banks in excess of $60,000 each month.Planned and managed the technical acquisition and conversion of the acquired bank's data and operations. During conversion, the acquired bank operate normally on Friday and open Monday morning as Vail Banks. Over a single weekend all new equipment was installed and all bank data was converted, balanced and verified before opening with full customer service on Monday morning.With Vail Banks CEO, I drafted the technical floor plan for the bank’s new 30,000 sq ft Administration and Operations Center and when completed, managed the move into the new center over a weekend with less that five hours of systems down time in the middle of a Saturday night.

To solve this problem I researched, developed the concept of, and technical details for, using remote check image capture and remote check image proof across our wide area TCP/IP data network. Proposing this solution to multiple vendors, Vail Banks was the first bank to implement this technology resulting in an additional $1,400,000 in average daily deposits to the Denver Federal Reserve Bank. Vail Banks became a showcase bank for the Federal Reserve and Unisys Corporation.
