Contribute to the maximization of Business performance, by the identification of cost saving opportunities and cash delivery increasing; Monthly Planning through accurate Forecasting for Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flows; Preparation of Annual Budgeting cycle and monthly track of budget vs actual expenditures; Preparation and submission of Monthly Financial Statements IFRS; Supervision of the Finance/ accounting team on the daily BAU activities (accounting, treasury, payments, credit control, stock control, etc.); Ensure compliance with tax obligations, external and internal controls (DoA, ABAC, Contract Management, Control Navigator, internal and external audits, tax health checks, fiscal duties, etc.); Preparation and submission of annual Financial Statements and Corporate Income Tax return; Preparation and submission of merger and acquisition (M&A) data for stakeholders’ s analysis; Define strategies to meet business’s performance goals, efficiently allocate activities among the team, to prioritize key deliverables, Manage the treasury funds to ensure hedging instruments are smartly implemented and cash is repatriated effectively and compliantly and ensure internal and external audits are conducted with no remarks and reports issued within the required timeframes.

Preparation of consolidated Balance Sheets for the different business units (in various countries in Africa region) according to the IFRS; Ensure reversing/ exclusion of local accounting entries are done before consolidation and according to the Group deadlines; Validation of the Financial Statements and relevant backup documents: Cash flows, Forecasts; Analysis of budget deviation vs the monthly performance; coordinate the regional Financial Management for the accounting monthly closing cycles and forecasting and planning cycles; local and regional calendar; management monitoring to ensure compliance with Group controlling policies for Anti-fraud, anti-corruption, etc.; assist with the internal and external audits by proactively assessing risks in the region and mitigation plan; provide support for the development of accounting policies and develop review and control reports to ensure consistency across the region.
