As Business Analyst Director my main goal is to establish, nurture and guide the team to engrain seamlessly with the rest of the disciplines to deliver quality work across all projects. I'm in charge of ensuring the team performs at its best during the presales and execution of projects from the deliverable quality perspective and the expected level of skills of team members.My main responsibilities within the role include:- Define and communicate methodologies that promote world-class deliverables to be followed by the production and lead team members.- “Preach the word” of the discipline and provide a base knowledge to all other disciplines via regular and updated presentations on discipline specific topics.- Ensure the discipline team is conformed of top-notch team players that can be considered the best in the region and even industry.- Guarantee the team has access to proper means, tools and channels to support and encourage their professional and personal growth plans. - Ensure feedback from and towards the team members is considered and acted upon accordingly.

I have worked defining and specifying digital projects, including websites and mobile applications for clients in several countries. My role includes pre- and post-sales support, functional and non-functional specification and definition for agile projects using user stories, use cases and UML diagrams, and interacting with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all client requirements are fulfilled.

I took part in software development projects for international companies where responsibility, autonomy and efficiency were critical for achieving the Project goals. I designed technical specifications for the software to be developed, such as Use Case diagrams, workflows, alternative paths, process flows etc.I worked with the project’s development team to guarantee that the resultant solution corresponded to the established designs the way they were approved by the client. In the same way, I work with Test Analyst to collaborate in test cases design, improving the software quality on each iteration of the process (Using iterative methodologies like RUP and UML).

I participated in software development projects (mainly web-based), performing different roles within them, including systems modeling and design; requirements elicitation and management; analysis and design of use case driven software solutions; applications development and support and maintenance of the delivered systems.I was part of the group of trainers and coaches that instructed workgroups of important companies both public and private ( ECOPETROL S.A., CARACOL S.A., FOGAFÍN, Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi, Departamento Nacional de Planeación, EPM Bogotá, Informática Siglo 21). The imparted courses were related to technological topics such as information systems modeling, software processes and solutions using U.M.L., Requirements management and engineering, and selection and implementations of software development methodologies including Unified Process and Extreme Programming
