Heading the quality assurance department at the largest beverage manufacturer in Mauritius with responsibilities lying in manufacturing (production & quality) and food safety/quality/ environment, health & safety systems implementation. Key roles ranged from devising standards for procurement and supply chain, managing production processes such as water treatment, syrup manufacturing, beverage preparation, bottling, quality control laboratories for physical, chemical and microbiological testing, waste water management, internal as well as trade and supplier audits, evaluate equipment performance and prepare/implement action plans for improvement focus. Also responsible for developing and implementing a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality(SHEQ) management system according to international standards (ISO, HACCP, The Coca Cola Co & Diageo).
