Dalyce was born in Taiwan and later moved to Vancouver, Canada. She graduated from the University of British Columbia where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree. She also graduated from Vancouver Film School in Acting for Film and Television Program. She expresses her interest in acting when she was young. Her first on stage performance was a supporting role in the theater production from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School. She joined Sacrificium Society of Productions, and was the leading actress in stage productions such as “Love Never Dies”, “Price of Love”, “James With A Narrow Mind”, “O death, Where Is Thy Sting”, and “The Immigrants”. She was the leading actress in short films such as "Let Mercy Fall", “Pet”, “Trap” and “Tess in Tokyo”, as well as supporting actress in films such as “Marianne” and “Vouge Tres Rouge”. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese and a little Japanese.
