I started my property career in Residential Property Management at Independent Property Group and later joined United Group Services as a commercial Property Manager. During my time in this role I was responsible for the Medicare Australia portfolio consisting of 324 retail shopfronts and eight office headquarters. I managed daily finances, analysis and compilation of yearly budgets, and lease renewals on behalf of the client. After 12 months, I was promoted to take on the challenge of coordinating the relocation and refurbishment of Medicare’s head offices and retail branches Australia wide. In 2008, I joined the Real Estate Management Team at Colliers ACT. I am now responsible for managing 19 properties across the ACT and NSW for some of Canberra’s largest private clients. My portfolio is comprised of over 90 tenants where I am responsible for the financial management (debtors control, annual outgoings reconciliations), compliance auditing and monthly meetings. My experience within the industry has allowed me to effectively understand the diverse tenant needs, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of commercial properties to meet the specific demands of each tenant type. During my time with Colliers I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients from small private companies to larger institutions. My expertise extends to preparing comprehensive monthly reports that detail financial performance, occupancy rates, and maintenance activities, ensuring transparency and accountability. Additionally, I specialize in conducting budget analysis to optimize financial outcomes and align expenditures with client objectives. My commitment to building trust and delivering results has consistently resulted in high client satisfaction and long-term partnerships in the commercial real estate sector.
