Oversee and facilitate day-to-day operations to ensure activities are supportive of the business plan. • Recruit, interview, hire, train, develop staff, and evaluate performance for operational excellence. • Maintain an accurate and up to date plan of restaurant staffing needs. Prepare schedules for all shifts. • Successfully meet financial goals, including sales targets, budget and cost control measures. • Maximize profitability and margin (labor, cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory, track discounts and other marketing campaigns). • Responsible for accurately completing financial/personnel/payroll reports in accordance with company policies. • Monitor inventory through established ordering procedures to ensure product availability while maintaining profitability. • Place and receive orders for all products. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment abiding by all regulations set by the Labor Board, OSHA and the Department of Public Health. • Successfully expand the brand (new location employee orientation, workflow management, test equipment, ensure compliance with regulatory agencies). • Anticipate, manage and resolve conflicts.

Work directly with the General Manager to ensure day-to-day activities are supportive of the business plan. Manager on duty in G.M. absence • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize cost • Organize large volume catering orders, review menu with customer prep/deliver/collect payment • Maintain a professional restaurant image. • Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues. Train new managers and hourly employees. • Place and receive produce and beverage orders. • Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service. • Coordinate special events (marketing and promotion). • Manage lunch and dinner shift. • Open /close/prep/clean. • Enforce proper food handling procedures.
