I have obtained a bachelors degree from The Ohio State University in the field of Industrial and Systems Engineering. During my time at OSU, I had two internships at THK manufacturing. During these two internships I was a project engineer with a focus on efficiencies and ergonomics. I made layout redesigns to help the efficiencies of work cells.To help with efficiencies I fabricated work jigs using Alibre and a 3D printer. I also, preformed time studies on the block assembly process, and assisted with time studies of the machine center that implemented a new position. Also while at OSU I participated in a capstone project with the Franklin County Board of Elections (BOE). While at Franklin County BOE, my team and I helped solve their spatial problems by implementing a new cart design, a new cart packing system, and a warehouse layout redesign that helped the BOE to become more spatially efficient. The team and I helped save the Franklin County BOE around $500,000 by implementing the new cart design instead installing a mezzanine.After OSU I was hired by Troy Design and Manufacturing, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Ford. While at TDM I have 3+ years of experience as an Industrial/ Process engineer. Designed, implemented, and optimized manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of automotive Prototype and Production systems. Led multiple safety initiatives that led to significant reductions in workplace injuries, 38% and 22%. Worked to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality by analyzing existing processes, identified areas for improvement, and implemented solutions. Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety and quality standards.
