CurrentThis role consisted in leading a team with the goal of adapting Antidote (the main software of the company) to the SaaS model by porting it to the Web. It is a project spread over 3 years for which I have:* Split the responsibilities of the software between FrontEnd and BackEnd* Created concepts and a vocabulary used in a REST API* Conceived a WebSocket message protocol to leverage the existing linguistic engine* Set an action/event asynchronous model to interact with the existing codebase which was built on a synchronous model* Led and contributed in a major way to the C++ BackEnd* Led and contributed modestly to the JavaScript FrontEnd (React / Redux)* Kept pace with three years of new development on the desktop software* Applied security best practices and designed security in the architecture from day one of the project* Introduced test driven development in our team’s process (rest of the company has yet to follow)* Automated continuous integration and delivery services using Gitlab* Dockerized the BackEnd services (FROM scratch)* Dockerized the continuous integration and delivery agents achieving a homogeneous type of agent for all tasks
