I was a previous Database Administrator of Northern Marianas College, Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, USA and for my last years, the Interim IT Director for almost two years. Throughout my experience, I have worn several hats which gave me various experiences in the Information and Communication Technology industry. I started as a Computer Technician then became an instructor and gradually elevated my career to Sr Programmer and Analyst. Then I have worked abroad and started my career as a Computer Programmer where I have self-taught Web and Mobile Development, which eventually lead me to my work at Northern Marianas College as a Database Administrator. Before I became part of the Northern Marianas College, I was a designer and the developer for their website (https://www.marianas.edu). Using PHP and MySQL, I have built their website and provided them with an in-house Content Management System of their own. The website was online from 2008 to 2020 and recently revised using the Joomla framework last 2021. While working at an educational institution, I have also trained myself with other aspects in technology such as networks, servers, storages, failover, clustering, replication and system integration. This has provided me with a good foundation in hardware and networking, server and storage technology on top of my knowledge in software development, implementation and maintenance.
