Damaris Brown is an experienced designer with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design from The Arts Institute International Kansas City. Her passion for design stems from humble beginnings and a dedicated heart to have an impact in her community and industry. She enjoys using her talents and skills as an experienced and certified designer to create functional and purposeful learning environments in the Educational Design Market to support various needs, experiences, well-being and support the learning aspects from a universal approach promoting equity in educational learning environments. To her, design is a team effort and the collaboration of ideas and shared knowledge to cultivate visions into fruition aids in building lasting relationships. Outside of design, she has a heart for philanthropy engagements with volunteer efforts supporting local non-profit organizations to various volunteer opportunities and mentorship. Additionally, her involvement with NOMAKC has enabled her to help support the mission to influence the next generation with exposure to the architecture and design community.
