Contract employment with State Health Department to consult, advice and educate Small Medium Industries (SMI) about basic Food Safety Program based on Food Hygiene Regulations 2009.

1. Develop, execute and maintain Quality Management Systems i.e. GMP, HACCP, HALAL and establish continuous improvement programs2. Review production activities, analyse operations data and initiate related improvement projects to improve productivity and efficiency3. Establish, implement and maintain preventive maintenance for machineries to minimise production downtime4. Perform process inspection to ensure all incoming raw materials to finished goods comply to established food safety and quality standards before release5. Take charge of raw materials and finished goods inventory control6. Review and update quality system policies, manuals, SOPs and work instructions when needed7. Prepare and collate finished product specifications, COAs, MSDS, and all related technical documents as per legislative requirements8. Conduct internal quality audits on interval basis and liaise with external quality auditors, certification bodies and government regulators9. Manage customer complaints and NCRs, finding root cause, nature of rejects and recommend corrective and implement preventive actions within set time frame10. Perform any other duties assigned by Management

Trained auditor and consultant for MeSTI and BeSS certification. Labeling checker for food product & packaging. Committee and facilitator of MeSTI certification workshop. Coordinate promotional activities of FSQ Division. Assisting lead and certified auditor for HACCP & GMP audit.

Manage and handling Food Safety Management System of the company according to standard ISO22000:2018, HACCP, GMP & Halal. In charge of external and internal audit, receive and file complaint regarding raw & packaging materials and also finished goods. Validation of new process, materials and products. Ensure the cleanliness and personnel hygiene of food handlers. Conduct internal training regarding foods safety concerns. Lead Management Review Meeting annually.
