Working in the Students Union duuring the new Welcome period (Freshers), part of my job was to ensure that events were running on time and as smoothly as possible. Also promoting events was a responsibility of mine to ensure students were kept informed.Plus ensuring the correct amount of the attendees were at each event. Finally, my job also included helping students find their way around campus and to the different venues for each event.

As an ambassador i help out in Stationers' Crown Woods Academy in the EAL English as an Additional Language and support students again who are doing Business and also advise them on what they can do at university and what's the best courses for universities as well. But I also run the Access Ability Ambassadors desk at the university open days and also help out on the tours or any other events which ambassadors are needed at. Its exciting as you don't know what your doing next so its a new challenge. This job also has enabled me to show how accessable the university is and has allowed me to appear at loads of events such as city wide events which include other universities.

Also I was tasked with assisting with the running of some events, making sure the events were set up on time & that ensuring that students attending were okay. This job was a challenging but exciting one at the same time. There was a lot to manage but my good organisation skills helped me with this role.
