I am committed to the realization of revolutionary change in the perception, construction and restoration of the built environment in the United States, and throughout the world. Through the research and implementation of alternative energy sources and sustainable design, I am excited to have the opportunity to receive my Architectural education now, during the birth of a new Architecture, a true effort at reaching net zero construction and and the galvanization of sustainable practice.Through my work as 2011-12 President of SCAD ASHRAE; my independent studies, experimentation and research in building science and also through my membership benefits and training in ASES, AEE ASHRAE, IEEE and AIAS; I strive to be be a catalyst to the paradigm change necessary to facilitate a sustainable future. By these avenues and by those I have yet to endeavor, I aspire to reposition architecture, architectural research and building science in the USA to a position of preeminence. By utilizing these elements and continually looking for new avenues of collaboration, I look forward to being part of the progress that will bring about tangible change.Specialties: Pre and post construction energy modeling. Thermographic building investigations including but not limited to weatherproofing, insulation deficiency identification, insulation efficacy verification, waterproofing, and moisture intrusion detection and identification.
