I received my International MBA degree from the University of South Carolina. My favorite part of this experience was studying internationally at ESCP Business School in Paris. The program puts a heavy emphasis on all business operations in the global environment, as well as data management and analysis. I focused my studies on global innovation and entrepreneurship. I completed two rotations in Tesla's raw materials sourcing team as a Global Supply Management intern. My main focus was aluminum and polymer sourcing to supply all of Tesla's factories across the world. My day-to-day responsibilities typically involved managing suppliers, issuing production-critical purchase orders, and developing projects that strengthened Tesla's global sourcing strategy. I met with vendors to ideate solutions that will enable the factory to operate more sustainably through enhanced recycling processes. I built the business case modeling discounted cash flows based on worldwide metal index prices and increased scrap value realized by a new sustainable recycling partnership that generated $9MM annually. I presented the case to factory leadership and it was approved.I developed and issued raw material RFQ's for three programs in North America and China. I worked closely with program management and engineering to collect and manage the RFQ's foundational data. At HDR I consulted for small to large municipal, energy, private development, and transportation clients across the United States and Canada. I was a project manager who was lucky to have high-performance teams help deliver high-quality water resources, city-wide master planning, and climate change adaptation projects tailored specifically to each client. In all projects that I managed I would implement sustainable practices wherever possible. I was responsible for developing and managing scopes, budgets, workstreams, and resources on multiple concurrent projects while being responsible for the design integrity as the engineer of record. I regularly presented at regional conferences to market HDR's capabilities and our clients' impactful projects.
