Responsible for 5-15 crew members on various projects throughout Los Angeles County. Motivating to fulfill their education, development work plans and goals. Supervise train and guide in the completion of service projects including trail maintenance masonry and rock work. clearing of drainage features, out sloping trail tread, brushing trails, construction of DG trails, California native plant restoration, close off illegal trail OHV, bucking and liming of trees S 212, backcountry/front country, and wilderness spike camps with crew for weeks or month-long projects. Serves as liaison between project sponsoring agency staff and supervisor, provides team support for community events and promotes community involvement in team projects, ensure safe work practices, a safe work environment and the proper maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and tools.

Oversee field crews and lead volunteers on restoration and trail maintenance, construction of graded and paved trails, trail drainage, trail bridges, replacement of water diversion bars, retainer walls, remove rock-slides, surface outcroppings and debris from trails. Build up tread surfaces in eroded areas. Perform dry stone masonry and rock work, close off illegal trail. Plant and propagate of California native plants. Remove graffiti, herbicide applicator. Hand tools shovels, rock bars, sledgehammers, pick mattocks, crosscut saw, Pulaski, McLeod, and power tools chainsaws, rock drills, string trimmer, motorized rigs. Operates motor vehicles to transport crews, tools, and equipment.

Motivate, coordinate, and transport a team of 15 youth from Los Angeles to Los Angeles National Forest Service to provide education and career opportunities for students. Talk to the public about fire safety and "leave no trace”. Shadow Forest service employees.

Organized and guided team members/volunteers in project development tasks. Implemented work projects in a timely and efficient manner. Restored California coast native plant habitat, propagate of California native plants. Performed community outreach education. Led tour guides at the Sea Lab, enforced safe work practice. Control and eradicate invasive plant species utilizing pest management, global positioning system (GPS). Maintain/construct trail structures utilizing rock retaining walls, riprap, causeways, water bars, check dams and tool used shovels, rock bars, sledgehammers, pick mattocks, crosscut saw, pulaski, mcleod. hike distances of 2 to 15 miles per day at high elevation, front country/backcountry spike/hitch.
