At Beyond Secure I'm working with a talented team where we are:- Interfacing with the user(s) and sponsor(s) and all other stakeholders in order to determine their (evolving) needs.- Generating the highest level of system requirements, based on the user's needs and other constraints.- Ensuring that this set of high-level requirements is consistent, complete, correct, and operationally defined.- Performing cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components.- Partitioning large systems into (successive layers of) subsystems and components each of which can be handled by a single engineer or team of engineers or subordinate architect.- Ensuring that a maximally robust design is developed.- Generating products such as sketches, models, an early user guide, and prototypes to keep the user and the engineers constantly up to date and in agreement on the system to be provided as it is evolving.- Ensuring that all architectural products and products with architectural input are maintained in the most current state and never allowed to become obsolete.

At Smart Design i'm taking care of everything and usually work on multiple projects simultaneously - from audio and video setups for research sessions to administration of all the infrastructure and online services. We work in a creative environment with Windows and Mac OS. I’m expected to provide 24/7 support for multiple time zones.My daily routines require me to deploy, manage, utilize and backup:- Multiple hosts using various VMware solutions( ESXi 5.5 and 6.0, vCenter and vSphere mostly on Dell PowerEdge)- Exchange 2007 and 2010 environment with DAG- IDS and IDP solutions (Snort, Suricata) with network tracing tools such as Wireshark- VPN gateways- Multiple NAS boxes- DNS, DHCP, and other L2/L3 networking protocol standards- LANs, WANs, Internet, and Intranet segments as well as network hardware and software. - Office 365, Google for Business and Dropbox and other cloud solutions.I had opportunity to help Smart Design deploy network infrastructure in London and Barcelona offices, from basic router, switch, server configurations to network diagram and documentation record keeping.I am in charge of IT support team for London, San Francisco and Barcelona offices.I was also working with the team that was responsible for security assessment that required Smart Design to be in compliance with NIST SP800-15, SP800-88, SP800-48 and ISO17799 standards.

- In house support for approximately 150 users- Managed and supported all computer workstations, servers, IP phones, printers, and cellular phones - Performed installation of network infrastructure across multiple offices- Perform installation, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure proper load balancing and backup procedures on Windows servers.
