I’m Damián Calderón, an IoT enthusiast passionate about how intelligent systems can reshape industries and everyday life. My main interests lie at the intersection of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Intelligence, where I’m constantly exploring how to build smarter, more connected systems that solve real-world problems.I’ve developed hands-on experience with software development by working on various projects involving embedded systems and AI-powered solutions. One of my key projects involved building custom hardware-software integrations, such as an AI voice assistant using ESP32 microcontrollers and APIs like Google’s speech-to-text and ChatGPT, enabling innovative interactions between devices and humans.At Unisys, I contributed to software projects with precision, leveraging my programming and testing skills to enhance application reliability. Collaborating within an Agile environment, I played a role in sprint planning and execution, ensuring the team consistently met critical milestones.I’m also actively developing software for IoT applications, focusing on data-driven insights and automation. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica and a post-graduate certificate at Sheridan College, I’m positioned to innovate in IoT and Machine Intelligence.
