I developed and delivered training packages used in the NSW Rural Fire Service. Then NSW RFS has a staff of close to 500 but a volunteer work force close to 68000. The training packages that I instructed range from the basic front line Firefighters courses, through specialist courses to Incident Controller of major natural and manmade disasters. Baulkham Hills District had 17 stations and a staff of 10 and 700 volunteer Firefighters. Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai had 19 stations, a staff of 11 and 1000 volunteer Firefighters.
