After completing an intensive program at the New York Code and Design Academy, I co-developed a social sharing application: CrowdKat - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/crowdkat/id988450587?mt=8. I learned an incredible amount about iOS development and became very familiar with Core Location, RESTful API design, push notifications and remote databases (with Parse), third-party SDKs and Core Image. CrowdKat was developed with Swift v1.2 and in November of 2015 we upgraded the codebase to Swift v2.0.
