As creative director, I work with a host of different clients to bring a wide range of animation, puppet, and live-action projects to life. From the initial brief to the completed project, I have a very hands-on approach, working alongside an amazing team of artists from Ireland, the UK, and US.
I am a principal creature performer and puppeteer for LucasFilm and Disney's 'Star Wars' franchise. Working with Oscar-winning Creature Effects Supervisor, Neal Scanlan, I puppeteered numerous creatures and droids of all shapes and sizes in all corners of the galaxy. I worked alongside legendary Muppet performer Frank Oz to assist him in bringing Yoda back.
I have worked with Kite Entertainment on a variety of different projects at various stages over the last 20 years. My work with Kite has included directing comedy series, hidden camera shows, puppet work, and most recently a live-action & animation series called 'Storybud' for RTÉ Jr.

In 2020, I worked as a Puppet Captain on Colin Trevorrow's 'Jurassic World; Dominion'. Working with Creature Effects Supervisor, John Nolan, and fellow Puppet Captain, Derek Arnold, we coordinated the delivery of 38 practical dinosaurs and reference puppets. I was involved in all presentations and performances of the creatures to the directors, producers.
Having trained as a puppeteer with the Jim Henson Company in the late '90s, I was delighted to receive the opportunity to be a principal core puppeteer on the Netflix series "Dark Crystal; Age Of Resistance" directed by Louis Leterrier. Filmed in the UK over a year, I played the role of the Heretic (voiced by Andy Samberg), the 'sentient rock construct'.
I've worked with BBC and CBBC on a variety of different projects at various points over the years. I've was a director on the BAFTA-winning series of Justin Fletcher's "Gigglebiz" for CBeebies and directed the original series of the faux-reality TV show 'Class Dismissed' for CBBC. I've been a puppeteer on many of their kids' shows including the BAFTA.
