Employed to parallelize (enable a sequential application to run on multiple nodes) a road traffic simulator for an EU project called OSSA (open Framework for the Simulation of Traffic Assessment and Strategies). The OSSA Project http://www.cpc.wmin.ac.uk/consortium.htmlThe OSSA project addressed the need to produce a user-friendly and meaningful traffic simulator to end-users. My duties included the following: Designed and developed a parallel traffic simulator (Predictor) using PVM/MPI parallel programming API, Test and run the parallel traffic simulator on a number of cluster nodes. I also used the traffic simulator, written in C language, for further research leading to PhD. Achievements:  Successfully released a working parallel traffic simulator on time, which is still used as a research tool within CPC. Developed several deliverables at various stages of the project lifecycle Played significant role in testing the parallel traffic simulator and integrating it to other partners’ modules on a number of cluster nodes
