I worked with databases, knowledge graphs, and used several API's to test and develop possible solutions. Some of the API's I worked with are the Wolfram Alpha, Spacy, and Alchemy API's. I also used Flask along with Heroku to deploy Flask app's that could be rendered on a webpage that incorporated the Bootstrap framework. More recently I have worked with asynchronous frameworks such as Sanic and also have migrated over to using a PostgreSQL DB. At the moment I am investigating bias in claim-spotting models and researching ways to mitigate or eliminate such bias. -

Developed front-end interfaces for said applications using Bootstrap, Semantic UI, JavaScript, and custom HTML/CSS. Also, maintained, updated, and queried a MySQL database with over 5000 users to power the applications and store user data. Developed an internal API for the applications to call and get data from the DB easily (e.g., for search bars), and used external API's (e.g., Algolia Location API) to provide accurate information in the forms we created. Working with a small team we migrated over from the Cascade CMS platform and deployed our apps on an RHEL server for which I helped setup the Apache and other related configurations to get the applications to route to the appropriate locations.
