- Work closely with key customers on analysing wear and performance for key equipment to drive longer in service life- Work with key customers in oil sands to ensure expectations are met and surpassed- Work closely with Aftermarket Sales Account Managers to grow our Oil Sands aftermarket business, through sales presentations, client meetings, etc.- Provide monthly updates to Management and Operations Group on key component wear life/demand and customer maintenance outage schedules, to allow inventory alignment for each major customer. - Monitoring wear data and equipment performance for key customers in the Athabasca Oil Sands- Analysing wear conditions and wear rates to drive continual improvement in all equipment- Analyse equipment wear mechanism and help drive design changes through design centre of origin- Assist in inventory forecast by predicting spares required for different applications- Develop and implement improvement plans for critical equipment- Continually monitor equipment performance and be involved with potential design changes to continually improve equipment

Slurry Pumps: Pump commissioning, troubleshooting and technical support. Selection and evaluation of slurry pumping solutions to green and brown field mining projects. Evaluation and negotiating of project technical and commercial specifications. Project value estimating and quoting.Valves: Operational troubleshooting, project value estimating and quoting. Technical support and training.Customer Support - Pumps: After market support to mining customers. Regular customer interaction, assistance in solving pumping system complications. Aided customers in developing/validating plans in process changes that affect conditions for plant pumps. Manufacturing: Pump assembly operations including root cause investigating for missing kit parts. Involvement as tooling coordinator. Trigger tooling changes where needed on new drawing revisions, facilitate pattern/mould updates changes and creations.Industrial Pumps: Selection and evaluation of industrial water/waste water pumping solutions. Quotation and evaluation of tenders.

Assistance in evaluating project specifications and ensuring/negotiating compliance. Additional experience in assisting with procurement of capital equipment within full compliance of technical specifications.Aiding Senior Mechanical Engineer with all day to day duties.
