Damian Lopo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he currently lives. He completed his degree in Business Administration (1996) and his Master in Finance (2005), both in the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires. Damian started his career in the United States developing one of the first e-commerce interfaces in 1996, just before joining Accenture, where he worked in Marketing Dpt. and then as Senior consultant in Strategy Practice. Damian then moved to the financial sector, where he managed assets from private banking investors and traded futures and options. Later on he created Proideas, his own Real Estate holding company that traded as public company as Central Urbana, with more than US$ 250 million in Assets under management (Cerro Bayo, Campos de la Angostura, Madero Walk, Matienzo 2532, Madero Boats, +5411, etc). In 2008, Damian sold his participation to create a new holding with participation in several companies in different sectors as Real Estate (LA Esperanza - Estancia VIlla Maria), Renewable Energy (The Cleanergy Group), Wines & Wineyards (Ikal 1150), and Retail (Good People). Then he was selected as one of the main investors at the Real TV SHOW: Shark Tank Argentina (Tanque de Tiburones) and Jaula de Negocios (America24) where promotes and invests in entrepreneurs and companies. Recently, he co-founded NEWLINK CAPITAL a Real Estate holding company owner of: Crowdium, Techfinance,, Landium, Pavetron, Vaca Muerta Housing & Next Living.Specialties:
