Mid 2008 I was appointed Senior Manager of Pentana Solutions Networks ( formerly known as Reynolds & Reynolds ).Responsibilities in this role include :* Management of a National network sales team consisting of 4 sales people and 2 presales people * To replace myself with capable managers in both Managed Connections and DealerLink * Took on the International business to ensure that our ERP solutions we are selling in China, Thailand, PNG and New Zealand would be cost effective to deploy and work well. * Design and install an ASP model for cost effective application deployment into China and Thailand. * To ensure that all new solutions are in line with the company direction and are going to support all of our ERP applications. * To source new business opportunities to introduce new products and services to increase revenue and profits.* To work with new suppliers on contract negotiation and go to market strategies.

On top of Managing Managed Connections I was offered to take on another business unit within Reynolds called DealerLink.DealerLink is a major the communications supplier to the Automotive industry and runs the largest Automotive network in Australia. Responsibilities in this role included* Management of P&L and growth responsibility for an existing $10m turnover in the combined businesses. * Management of 5 additional staff * Supplier liason and negotiations on new products and services * Organic and new business Sales Growth* Presentations of new product and services offerings at trade shows.

I was appointed business manager of Managed Connections which install the solutions designed by the sales team. This role included the management of 6 engineers and 1 Pre-Sales and certification consultant.Whilst in this role I continued to be involved and very active in the National Sales and Design until I recruited and educated a sales team to replace myself. Whilst in this role I achieved 5 consecutive 100 club awards for exceeding 100% of revenue budgets.

I was solely responsible for all the network sales and design for all business in Australia and New Zealand. This encompassed reviews of our customers / prospects networks and provide and sell WAN / LAN designs to improve performance and TCO. In this role I consistently exceeded monthly sales targets and managed to build an excellent relationship with our customers at all levels.

Started a dedicated IT Helpdesk to support our network solutions.

In this role I was chartered with installing and supporting LANS and WANS around Australia for our automotive customers. Solutions included* ISDN / Frame Relay based WANS which included installation of CISCO CPE's* Installation of Linux based proxy and mail servers.* Installation of Windows servers incorporating multiple Domains.* Deployment of SOE environments for PC's * System integrations and Firewall deployments for 3rd Party networks

Micropro was the leading supplier to the education sector in Melbourne and Sydney. My role encompassed Microsoft network network design and installation and onsite fault diagnosis and repairs.

I was responsible for carrying out onsite repairs for our clients that were a part of our "Customer Care" service. This involved fault diagnosis of Oki and Sharp laser printers, SCO UNIX based ACER servers, Stallion easy reach products and Wyse/Link dumb terminals.

Was promoted to work in the service department as an inhouse engineer performing component level repairs on Wyse and Link based terminals, OKI Dot Matrix and laser Printers, Sharp Laser Printers and Wyse PC's and Servers.

I was responsible for the alignment and ROM upgrades of Wyse and Link based terminals for customer orders.Further duties included applying custom modifications designed by the engineering team.
