I am a registered company auditor with more than 20 years’ experience across a wide range of industries. I have worked as a chartered accountant in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. I have been a partner in BDO in Brisbane’s audit practice since 1999, working with a diversified group of large and medium sized public and private organisations. I am currently responsible for the statutory audit requirements of companies across a range of industries (eg motor dealer services, manufacturing, natural resources, property, and retail) and in a variety of geographical locations.By working in partnership with my clients I gain a strong understanding of their businesses, equipping me with the information needed to ensure audits are carried out in accordance with all statutory and reporting requirements. I play a senior role in BDO in Brisbane’s Automotive sector team, leveraging my expertise in the areas of due diligence services, financial investigations, investigating accountants’ reports, internal control reviews and probity audit services.Some of my key achievements to date include commercial litigation involving the investigation of assets and liabilities for a matter in the Supreme Court; undertaking QAO contract auditor roles; conducting a large number of valuations for the Family Court, dispute resolutions, and buy/sell transactions; and performing a number of internal fraud investigations.I am also a member of an advisory board for a large service company.Specialties: Audit and assurance services, due diligence, financial investigations, investigating accountants’ reports, internal control reviews, motor dealer services, manufacturing, probity audit services
