Damian is a member of the Dean’s Cabinet which leads all aspects of the college including the Baiada Institute for Entrepreneurship (business incubator), accreditation, rankings, marketing, and advancement.As head of partnerships, Damian serves as the chief architect of all diversified revenue programs including corporate and academic development, and leads all aspects of the deal flow, from lead generation to close to operations. In addition, Damian is responsible for the annual strategic planning of corporate and academic development including competitive intelligence and targeting of sales prospects.

Damian is the first faculty appointed to the Close School. His clinical expertise is in healthcare entrepreneurship and enterprise growth.

Damian is a member of the founding team at the Close School of Entrepreneurship at Drexel University. He provides leadership to program and curriculum development, startup incubators, faculty development, enrollment management, and fundraising. In addition, Damian provides leadership to Graduate and Undergraduate affairs including accreditation and inter-college partnerships.

In Spring 2020, Damian launched the first startup initiative for FSVC in North Africa. A State Department funded program, Damian led the two teams that provided technical assistance in growth and strategy to 20 startup companies as well as the largest private incubator in the capital city of Algiers, Algeria.

Damian is co-founder of Clinical Supervision Services (CSS). Our mission is to train the next generation of licensed clinical therapists in private practice and/ or careers in mental health services throughout PA. We are changing the mental health industry through a focus on talent development and evidence-based mental health services. CSS was acquired in February 2022 by Open Minds Psychological. CSS was nominated by Al Dia Media for the inaugural 2022 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

In partnership with over 35 member organizations, Damian supported business development for the Philadelphia Alliance resulting in the growth of the association from $900MM to over $5B. In addition, Damian is the founding Chair of the Philadelphia Alliance Workforce and Administrative Services Domain. In this role, Damian led the human capital strategy for over 30,000 employees throughout the Philadelphia region.

As Director, Organizational Development for a leading community mental health organization in PA and DE, I led the digital transformation of Human Resources and the enterprise transformation to Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH) including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). I led the design and implementation of a change management strategy including an interdisciplinary framework that aligned company and business priorities, resulting in 10% CAGR for over 17 years.In my Human Resources role, I was a member of the senior leadership team that lead the human capital strategy including talent management, total rewards, compliance and employee relations strategy for over 1,200 employees in PA and Delaware.
