Developing Smart Grid technology for the PSE&G infrastructure in order to help deliver reliable, clean, affordable energy to all of our customers Specifically, my team focuses on the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). We develop Big Data systems in order to turn millions of unique data points into valuable asset information which drives business decisions. In this job function, I get to combine my engineering knowledge with my programming skills in order to systematically evaluate system conditions and solve business problems.As part of Energy Strong, PSE&G has ramped up it's investments in Smart Grid technology such as a centralized SCADA system for our distribution system. Along with the automation it provides, the SCADA system is feeding us with thousands of new data points. Using this data, I have developed new reports which bring new insight into the condition and operation of our system. At a quick glance anyone can now identify every circuit that has experienced conditions such as Low Power Factor, Low/High Voltage, or Overload. Users can trend all relevant data related to a particular circuit.

Provide transmission engineering consulting for PSEG and other clients. Responsible for establishing design criteria and standards for underground pipe-type cable transmission systems.Responsible for sizing pumping plant fluid storage tanks and establishing pressure and alarm settings.Developed a risk analysis tool used to gauge environmental risk for pipe-type cable systems across waterways and entering substations. Conduct meetings in which environmental risk analysis is used in conjunction with engineering analysis and construct-ability factors in order to determine ideal locations for stop joints along a circuit.

Review, update and create BOM’s, part drawings, and service bulletins. Create qualification plans and reports and perform all associated testing.
