Working for the Morgan Sindall Field Engineering team, providing support, coordination, and a conduit for information for OSE, Service Desk support and Morgan Sindall ICT departments. Working alongside 12 engineers providing onsite and remote assistance across the UK for Morgan Sindall Group

Assist with Active Directory for all of Morgan Sindall Group's 3 DomainsMonitor, repair software/hardware faults to all windows 2003/08 servers from within the 3 Domains.Assist with any on site issues with users Windows XP/Win7 laptops/desktops within your site area.Replace/migrate servers and users to replacement hardware, including installation, building, configuring and migration of data to new hardware.Report any faults to service desk and work through until completion abiding by strict SLA's Assist Service desk with existing knowledge of Infrastructure, Servers, back office solutions and users hardware/software.

Provide server and desktop support; Diagnose faults, single-out problems, liase with third party support companies, and install software and hardware. Maintain 15 NT, 25 2000 and 10 2003 servers running a range of bespoke systems and applications including Exchange 5.0, 5.5 and 2000, SQL server, Proxy server, FTP server, RAS, DNS, WINS, DHCP and active directory services.Install, implement and maintain Windows XP Professional, 2000 Server, 2000 Professional, NT Server, NT Workstation, 95, 98, and ME based PCs and servers in a LAN environment.Provide desktop and remote support (over WinVNC and PCAnywhere), in-line with strict SLAs, for a comprehensive selection of applications including Microsoft Outlook and Office and many products shown below.Products: Citrix, Cisco VPN, Acadamey, MS Visio, MS Publisher, ghost sophos and mcafee antivirus productsWork with a number of third party companies to implement and maintain a wide variety of critical systems including environmental monitoring, planning, housing, and council tax.Investigate, evaluate and solve a wide range of computer hardware and software faults
