International Internship opportunity at Choice International Limited. An enriching experience where I spent a great deal of my internship focusing on broadening my understanding in the Fundamental Analysis department. I was fortunate to also connect with the Technical Analysis team where I learnt some really interesting concepts and ideas which I took back with me and continued further research along my travels. Candystick.co.za is a start up company, where I was involved in door to door sales. My main job was to attend business functions and network to help grow and improve my networks database and to go to companies and pitch the concept in a way that was appealing, motivating potential clientele to take action. Was great experience even through it was short lived managed to learn, build courage, motivate my team, understand and learn new aspects of the business world from the perspective of many well respected businessmen and entrepreneurs who gave me some great advice, advised me on many books that was important for me to read which really resonated with me especially on my quest to achieve success. Even though this experience was short lived which was due to bigger and better opportunities I had the chance to really learn and grow as an individual.

Main responsibilities was to make sure that all of the rentals and all costs for Capitec Bank's branches across South Africa were paid for within the deadlines which consisted of weekly and monthly payments. We had to deal with municipalities and landlord and make sure all banking details, change of ownership and abnormal charges were taken care of appropriately. The experience was great and challenging at times which really helped me grow as an individual. I soon realized however that it was not for me and therefore I made the decision to leave my position but making sure that I made the most my time within the corporation making friends and contacts which I am still in contact with today. This allowed me to branch out, taking my knowledge acquired at the bank and implementing it in my future positions.
