Mr Damien Loh offers specialist surgery for weight loss, and cancers and benign disorders of the stomach and oesophagus. He also performs general and laparoscopic surgery.Mr Damien Loh graduated from the University of Melbourne Medical School and obtained his Fellowship in the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2011. He completed the ANZGOSA post-Fellowship training program, undertaking further training in Victoria and New South Wales in the areas of oesophago-gastric, hepatobiliary and laparoscopic surgery. He currently practices at The Alfred, Epworth Freemasons, The Avenue Private Hospital, and Sandringham Hospital.Mr Damien Loh is the current Supervisor of General Surgery Training at The Alfred. He has been actively involved in clinical research and teaching during his post-Fellowship training, and is an instructor on the ASSET course. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the Monash University Central Clinical School.His clinical interests include oesophago-gastric malignancy, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and bariatric surgery. He has published and presented on topics including hepatobiliary malignancy, hepatic surgery, benign gastro-oesophageal conditions, bariatric surgery, and the use of novel procedural techniques.
