As a Director at Avanade, I have been directly responsible for the delivery of a number of projects for enterprise customers. I am typically assigned to delivery lead roles and manage large teams both on- and off-shore. I work closely with Avanade’s customers to understand their requirements, envisage solutions, and ensure quality delivery. I also help our customers to understand and manage risk within a project, proactively identifying gaps within their infrastructure and providing remediation recommendations.In my role, I will typically produce business cases, create project plans with detailed tasks, manage high performance design teams, interact with customer architecture groups, and provide detailed costing and status updates back to governance groups. I frequently remain with a project throughout pilot and production deployment, and take a lead role in navigating through change management systems and processes.

As an Infrastructure Group Manager, I worked with multiple customers in both client facing roles and pre-sales. I was the Workplace Solutions lead for Avanade APAC, and worked with colleagues worldwide to develop go-to-market solutions that could be sold to our customers.

At Trident, I was lead engineer working with a team of 6. Trident provided IT consulting services to small and medium businesses, as well as large schools and universities. I worked on a variety of accounts, with overall responsibility for the Victoria University account. I also introduced Trident to 15 new clients in the insurance broking industry, signing each of them to long term support and hardware contracts.

I joined e.Law when they won the Government contract to run the Building & Construction Industry Royal Commission. My role was initially to lead the helpdesk team, but after 3 months I was reassigned to design the Commissions server architecture. Products I designed for included Active Directory, Exchange, SQL and Ringtail (legal case management software). I travelled across the country as the Commission was nationwide.
