MissionThe Business Controller is responsible for controlling activities related to Alexion Pharma Belgium (Export markets) and coordinating accounting activities with the Shared Service Center in Lausanne.Key tasksCONTROLLING:• Prepare financial reporting, monthly planning and analysis,• Establish budgets, forecasts and manage local budgets,• Support Paris controlling team to prepare the patients and sales forecasts.• Improve the financial processes and the performances in collaboration with the Senior Business Controller (practices, financial procedures and principles),• Develop and deploy internal procedures in conformity with the Company policies and adapt to the context of Alexion Pharma Belgium and the number of markets managed by that entity.• Business partnering to the APB management team to ensure clear understanding of financial impact of key decisions,• Develop ad-hoc reports & analysis for the APB area managerFINANCE COORDINATION:• Ensure Purchasing process is in line with Company policy,• Manage the Purchase Orders process in SAP, • Manage the invoicing process through SAP,• Coordinate with the Shared Service Center the payment process• Review Open Purchase Orders and manage the monthly accrual process
