Damilare Oyaniyi Email and Phone Number
I am committed to advancing cancer research through novel therapeutic approaches and lowering global death rates. My research interests are in targeted therapy and immunotherapy. I have a strong academic foundation in Zoology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, and a specialization in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. My research experience includes drug discovery and repurposing initiatives, where I have discovered and optimized lead compounds for the targeted treatment of breast and prostate cancers, as well as explored new therapeutic applications for existing medications in glioblastoma. Furthermore, I have investigated the potential of immunotherapies, such as vaccines. I am adept in a variety of computational tools and techniques, including virtual and ADMET screenings, gene ontology, pathway analysis, protein-protein interactions, and molecular docking, as well as molecular techniques such as nucleic acid isolation, PCR, cell culturing, and flow cytometry, all of which have helped to advance various research initiatives.I am looking forward to joining a research team and contributing to cutting-edge initiatives in targeted therapy and immunotherapy to improve patient outcomes and lower cancer-related mortality.
