I am mentoring first-year students through their first term to help them adjust to university life. I will also be facilitating weekly sessions to enable them to maximise their time during the first year and throughout the remainder of their university life.

Supporting UCL’s Computer Science Outreach Team to help further the opportunities for underrepresented youth in the local area. We aim to inspire students and showcase different opportunities through mentoring, leading workshops and visiting local schools.

I spent the summer before starting my MEng degree doing a general internship with CcHUB. Most of my internship was based in the Design Lab in Kigali with about a week at iHub in Nairobi.While in the Design Lab, I rotated between the three major teams: Research, Design and Development. This gave me the opportunity to interact and experience the different roles and responsibilities that each team has. Such as product roadmapping for new applications or interacting with and managing clients relations with different projects. More so, I was able to observe the more technical roles with back and front end developers.
