Key Responsibilities----------------------• Develops, reviews, and publishes standards, policies and procedures for all functions involved with quality and testing of Software applications/Products. Reviews processes to ensure that they align with current best-practice standards and industry trends.• Work with company management to understand company needs, determine any gaps in QA processes or projects, and take necessary actions for improvements.• Coordinates the daily activities of the Quality Assurance team.• Plan, organize, and monitor the execution of work assignments for the Quality Assurance Team• Establishes roles, reporting relationships, and responsibilities within the Quality Assurance team.• Acquire, manage and retain QA talent by evaluating company needs and demands.• Provide leadership and mentorship within QA team while ensuring effective collaboration with other disciplines/teams.• Provide coaching and guidance to the Quality Assurance Team on best practices and mentor them to achieve their work obligations and assist with their career goals.• Establish and maintain good working relationships with peers in Product Development, Project Management, Client Services and with external clients.• Along with the Quality Assurance Leads, will work with members of the QA team in terms of performance evaluation and career growth. • Provide guidance and expertise when called upon for key product functions or technical aspects, participating in design sessions, training activities or customer implementations when called upon.• All other QA related tasks as assigned by company management.
