Before embarking on consultancy and support in regulatory and quality affairs for pharmaceutical businesses in 2014, I had the opportunity to gain experience as Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager at Crucell Switzerland AG in a wide area connected to Regulatory Affairs. My work comprised worldwide license applications and life-cycle management of marketing authorisations of established products as well as support of developmental products, and establishment and maintenance of a regulatory end-to-end quality management system. Essential aspects of my work also included interacting with authorities and internal stakeholders. In the course of fusion activities with other pharmaceutical companies, i.e. Crucell and Janssen, constructive collaboration across companies and departments, and concise project planning and realisation was essential.I was delighted to join Berna Biotech AG (later Crucell) – a pharmaceutical company with profound experience in the vaccine business - after completing a Postdoc Research Fellowship and PhD thesis in the field of vaccine research at the University Clinics of Münster in Germany.Originating from a mixed culture family, I spent my childhood in India, subsequently in Germany, finally moving to Switzerland for my professional career, in summary: I qualify as „fourth culture kid“.
