I was involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing, production, and monitoring of goods.Job Profile:* Route Planning:- Plan and optimize vehicle routes for efficient delivery.* Supply Strategies:- Develop and implement new supply chain strategies.* Information Systems Coordination:- Utilize information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle.* Logistics Operations Management:- Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations, liaising with internal suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, and customers.* Problem-Solving:- Deliver solutions to logistics challenges while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary constraints.* Performance Monitoring:- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs to ensure efficiency.* Reverse Logistics Management:- Manage reverse logistics by planning cost-effective delivery.* Transportation Billing:- Verify transportation bills at the end of the month to ensure no extra charges by the transporter.* Tax Management:- Handle tax-related issues effectively.* Stock Management:- Keep track of slow-moving and obsolete stock.* Damage and Missing Product Resolution:- Resolve issues of damaged or missing products by securing full or partial refunds from transporters.* Cost Savings:- Identify savings by eliminating waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process.* Reporting:- Report on the achievement of targets and identify required actions.
