Currently leading a distribution operations team of 100 employees to include 10 Sales Managers overseeing distribution operations of independent operators, 3 wholesalers and company routes throughout 26 warehouse locations in the Mid Atlantic Region doing well over $115M in annual sales. My region consists of DC, VA, WVA, PA, OH, DE, MD and NC. Key account manager for such chain grocers as Giant Food, Giant Eagle, Acme, Safeway and Target. Lead the launch of our new distribution regions in the Cincinnati OH, Dayton OH and Norther Kentucky areas as well as played a key role in transitioning our Cleveland OH region from Independent Operators to company run route operations.

Was tasked with leading operations for our distribution team that consisted of 5 Sales Managers, 11 Company Route Sales Reps, 5 Load Coordinators, 20 warehouse locations consisting of 13 company warehouse locations, 2 wholesalers with 7 warehouse locations, 117 Independent Distributors and grew from $38M in sales to over $55 million in annual sales within 4.5 years. Lead business growth in 7 states such as CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME and all of upstate NY. Key account manager for chain grocers such as Demoulas Market Basket, Price Chopper/Market 32, Shaw’s/Star Supermarkets and Tops Supermarkets.

Managed multiple sales distribution territories doing well over $5 million in sales annually for Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe with a territory that consisted of 20 independent distributors who service all of Rhode Island, Southern MA to Cape Cod and Southeastern CT and 2 warehouse locations. Was able to increase sales YOY as well as control inventory by balancing stale returns and stay within budget. Also worked with buyers to negotiate promotions and space allocations yearly at key accounts such as Shaw’s/Star Supermarkets.

Independent distributor of Martin's Potato Rolls and Bread. Owned the territory and distributed the best rolls and bread on the planet. Increased sales average from $4,000 weekly to between $7,000-$8,000 per week with 13 major chain customers such as Shaw’s, Shoprite, Stop & Shop, Big Y and Walmart within a 2 year period. Responsible for growing sales in this geography as well as running the business as a whole.

Owned and operated a distribution territory that delivered and sold bread and roll products to multiple chain grocers. Grew the territory by 27% from $8,000 per week in sales to $11,000 per week in only 6 months. Distributed fresh bread and roll products to such chain customers as Walmart, Stop & Shop, A&P and Shoprite all while strengthening customer relationships and being a brand ambassador.

Managed over 150 convenience store accounts representing Gatorade and Sobe Life Water between the CT and WMA area. Was the #1 sales rep for Gatorade and Sobe Lifewater during our initial marketing campaign in 2008. Placed orders and cold sold in displays as well as built rapport with customers and obtained new customers in the territory such as Dunkin’ Donuts and major fitness centers.
